Before you subscribe
Can I try Baseline before paying?
There's no free trial. The screens on this page are taken from Baseline itself, so what you see is what you get. Access starts as soon as you subscribe, payments are non-refundable, and you can cancel at any time so you're not charged again.
Do I need my own AI key?
During the $15 launch price, yes: add a key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter or Ollama in Settings, and that provider bills you for what you use. From the regular $30 price, AI is included with fair-use daily limits, and you can still add your own key for unlimited use.
Can I export my data?
Yes, any time. Every register (tasks, risks, issues, changes, stakeholders, lessons) has a CSV download, and Profile → Download all my data gives you one ZIP of everything. You can also import tasks, risks and stakeholders from a spreadsheet, including exports from Jira, Asana, Trello or Microsoft Project. Documents you upload can be downloaded from the knowledge base.
Does it replace Jira, Asana or my team’s tool?
No, it sits alongside them. Your team keeps working where it already does; Baseline is where you, the project manager, keep the charter, baseline, risks, stakeholders and earned value. It doesn't sync with team tools.
Is Baseline connected to PMI?
No. Baseline is an independent product, structured around the PMBOK® Guide 8th Edition. It isn't affiliated with or sponsored by the Project Management Institute.
